Naod Mekonnen

Naod is a young and aspiring researcher with extensive research experience in socio economic studies. He has been working at the Ethiopian Economic Association / Ethiopian Economic Policy Research Institute/ the World Bank and Addis Ababa University. He has published a number of papers on various issues worthy of policy impact. He has won the first thesis in economics from the Addis Ababa University and Ethiopian Economics Associations. He is currently finalizing his PhD in Development Economics studies at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His research interest includes public opinion analysis, the application of data science for development policy analysis, impact evaluation of development programs on poverty.
